Jonathan Windle- Youth Pastor/ Varsity Assistant Coach PDF Print E-mail

Jonathan Windle is the youth sports pastor at Countryside Baptist Churchin Forest Hill, WV. He also works with the soccer program as an assistant coach and functions as the goal keeping coach for the varsity and junior varsity squads. He is the director of Countryside Baptist’s UPWARD youth soccer program. Jonathan graduated from Appalachian Bible College in 2010 with a major in Bible and a minor in Youth Ministries.

 
Scott Reitnour-Head Coach PDF Print E-mail

Scott Reitnour is currently the Head High School Soccer Coach at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina. During his nine-year coaching career at Wesleyan, the Trojans have captured five Piedmont Athletic Conference of Independent Schools Conference Titles, enjoyed four State Finals appearances, and won two PACIS State Championships, (2005 & 2011) and posted a 156-43-23 record.

Reitnour's career record in 13 seasons in the high school game is 210-70-26 (Boys), 60-18-7 (Girls), and 270-88-38 (Overall). In 2011, the Men of Troy captured the 3A North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association State Title - Wesleyan Christian Academy's 11th state championship.

Coach Reitnour has served five years as NCISAA 3A Boys Soccer chair, earned recognition as PACIS Coach of theYear four times (03, 04, 06, 11), North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association 3A Private School Regional Coach of the Year (05, 11), North Carolina State Coach of the Year (05, 11), National Soccer Coaches

Dr. James Blume - Founder and President of The Nehemiah Group

The Founder and  President of the Nehemiah Group, the ownership group of the Southern West Virginia King’s Warriors, is Dr. James Blume. Born, raised and currently residing in the “Mountain State,” Dr. Blume is a true West Virginian through and through. Dr. Blume graduated from Hinton High School (now Summers County High School) and earned his undergraduate degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Jim’s three-year stay in Lynchburg and one-year medical internship in Marietta, Ohio are the only times he has ever resided outside the state of West Virginia. Dr. Blume earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. Dr. Blume founded Forest Hill Family Practice in Forest Hill, West Virginia in 1991, where he continues to provide primary care to local residents. He also serves as the Director of Emergency Services at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital. Dr. Blume is busy and active in the local community. He pastors Countryside Baptist Church in Forest Hill, and is involved with numerous youth soccer teams in Summers and Monroe Counties. Dr. Blume resides in Forest Hill, and he and his wife Sally are the parents of seven children and one grandson.

 

Dr. Blume is also the head coach for the the King's Warriors youth soccer program. He has a great passion for coaching and has coached in the community for over 30 years.

Tim Donelli - Special Consultant

Tim Donelli at Press ConferenceTim Donelli will serve as a special consultant to Dr. Blume and the King’s Warriors in the team’s inaugural season in the United Soccer Leagues. Donelli brings 40 years of sports administration and broadcasting experience to the King’s Warriors organization. He currently works fulltime with Hockey Ministries International, and serves as the chaplain for the American Hockey League’s Charlotte Checkers, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes. Donelli was the first General Manager of the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club in 1993, helping to launch the franchise that has now spent nearly 20 years in the USL’s Pro Division. He currently works part-time for the National Football League’s Carolina Panthers, serving as Public Address Announcer for numerous special events during the season. Donelli is also the television play-by-play announcer for the Panthers’ “Little Panthers - Game of the Week” youth football games which are aired each fall. Tim also finds time to serve as a freelance sports reporter for the Charlotte Observer in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Greensboro News & Record in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Joshua Shimmel - Director of Operations/Head Coach of Lady King's Warriors

Joshua Shimmel is the Director of Operations and wears many hats in sales, marketing and operations. Shimmel was born in Kimball, Michigan and graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Since graduation, Josh has gained sports administration experience as a sales representative for the Port Huron Icehawks of the International Hockey League, and also recently completed a successful internship this past summer with the Carolina Speed of the Southern Indoor Football League. Shimmel resides in Forest Hill and also assists Dr. Blume in several outreach programs for the Nehemiah Group.

 

Josh also coaches the Lady King's Warriors in the Nehemiah Group's youth program. He is seeking to get the ball rolling as we try to grow the girl's program.
